Our Story
We started Cartwheel with a big goal in mind
In 2016, our co-founder, Stephen Wigginton, noticed first-hand how hard it was for organizations to collect payment, and he decided to do something about it. Similarly, our CEO and co-founder, Mani, encountered this challenge in his role as the Chief Product Officer for a rapidly growing startup. He frequently used staffing agencies to help him find permanent and contract talent. He was surprised when a trusted, reliable staffing agency abruptly went bankrupt. This prompted him to dig into the challenges, understanding how thin margins and cashflow problems affected them.
Together, Mani and Stephen founded Cartwheel to revolutionize accounts receivables for the staffing industry. With Cartwheel's accounts receivable automation, organizations can free themselves from burdensome manual processes, gain clear insights into cash flow and client trends, and, most importantly, get paid faster.
