Understanding the homepage
Your homepage in Cartwheel displays valuable data to help you manage your AR process and keep track of outstanding payments and troublesome clients. To access the homepage, sign in to your Cartwheel account. You should land on the homepage by default. If you are already logged in, simply click the “Home” section in the navigation. Below you will find a detailed description of the homepage.
1. Unpaid Invoice Count
The unpaid invoice count will display the current number of invoices in an “unpaid” status. This does not include invoices in an “overdue” status. Clicking on the unpaid invoice count will take you to the list of invoices pre-filtered to the “unpaid” status.
2. Unsent Invoice Count
The unsent invoice count will display the current number of invoices in an “unsent” status. Clicking on the unsent invoice count will take you to the list of invoices pre-filtered to the “unsent” status.
3. Client Filter
There are two widgets on the homepage that can be filtered by Client: Sales outstanding and Avg. DSO. By default, these widgets will display data across all your clients. To apply the client filter, open the dropdown and click on the client you want to filter to.
4. Sales Outstanding Widget
The sales outstanding widget has two sections. The section on the left will display the most overdue invoices in your system. Click the “View All Overdue Invoices” link to see the list of invoices pre-filtered to the “overdue” Status. You can also click on an overdue invoice in the list to view the details of that invoice.
The section on the right shows total sales outstanding for the past 3 months as a stacked bar chart.The mint bar on the bottom of the stack represents outstanding sales not including overdue sales. While the Red bar on the top of the stack represents overdue sales. The two bars added together represent the total sales outstanding. You can hover over each bar in the chart to get more information.
By default this will display data across all of your clients. To view this data across a single client apply the client filter.
5. Average DSO Widget
The average DSO shows a time series graph of the average sales outstanding. You can hover over a point in time in the graph to get further details. By default this will display data across all of your clients. To view this data across a single client apply the client filter.
6. Highest DSO Client Widget
This widget displays the clients in your system with the highest DSO.
7. Lowest DSO Client Widget
This widget displays the clients in your system with the lowest DSO.
